The fastest releasing geocasting protocol
3 03 2008I could not believe it ….
Allahu Akbar
Monday
I ‘ve just read An adaptive mesh-based protocol for geocast routing at 11.00 am today and read the Gamer code at 14.00 afterwards. Find any bug or weakness of this algorithm. I coded at 19.00. Midnight I got great result. Tomorrow I will write paper for it.
Tuesday
hhmmm… The result was getting worse for 80 nodes
It was probably any wrong in my algorithm. I should fix it asap.
Wednesday
3 days remain before the due date. It’s gonna make me crazy ….
Finally I knew what was the issues
Alhamdulillah. There were membership timer and mesh member flag problem.
Thursday
I started writing my poster research description. It is similar to write a paper, but it needs few pages (up to 3 pages). Meanwhile I was running mt research simulation. It took long time.
I gave my poster description to my Prof in afternoon. He promised to review and revise it.
Ooo, my memory was run out to run this simulation. It was scary the trace file consumed huge memory. I slept so late today and wake up so early in the morning.
Friday
My prof has not completed to revise it
I got idea to mail the chair of MobiHoc poster. I thought that there would be different time zone between us. Yep, I was right. The deadline time is 11.00 pm EST. It means Saturday 11.00 am , Taipei Time
Alhamdulillah, we had time
My simulation research was done at 6.00 pm. But it was only average speed scenario. The various of the number of the node had been done yet
. My prof suggested me to put one simulation result.
What !! The electric would be cut down tomorrow morning in EE buildind.
I had to work it out now !!
My prof gave me the revised poster at 11.30 pm. I attached the simulation result, conclusion and abstract. I did not have any choices, I should submit it now.
Saturday
Since there was no feedback from my prof, I informed the conference that I still use similar poster.
Finally it had been done. Hopefully it would be accepted

it just little things may be…. you know that…
better…. of you
